Forward On Climate Rally

Yesterday, an estimated 50,000 people gathered in Washington D.C. for the the Forward On Climate rally, an anti-Keystone Pipeline action, which made it the largest environmental action in the history of the United States. Below are some photos I took:

A global strike
An invitation to dance
A call to men and women to refuse to participate in the status quo until rape and rape culture ends
An act of solidarity, demonstrating to women the commonality of their struggles and their power in numbers
A refusal to accept violence against women and girls as a given
A new time and a new way of being

Flood the Courtroom – Stop NDAA

Today, the the 2nd circuit court of appeals heard oral arguments in the lawsuit against section 1021 of the NDAA. The courtroom and overflow room were both full, and others gathered outside to protest the NDAA. Click here for more info.
