Today, the the 2nd circuit court of appeals heard oral arguments in the lawsuit against section 1021 of the NDAA. The courtroom and overflow room were both full, and others gathered outside to protest the NDAA. Click here for more info.

Yesterday, protesters came to New York for a hearing about the National Defense Authorization Act, which (per the Obama administration) includes provisions for indefinite military detention without trial of Americans, including protesters and journalists.
